Berberys and its mutation Salamandra has been designed by Miranda Ltd. in cooperation with WITI (Military Institute of Technical Engineering) in Wroclaw. Berberys belongs to new generation of camouflaging nets covering vehicles and equipment against reconnaissance made by various means (visual, close IR, thermal, radar). In visual band of spectrum works the colouring in various camo versions suitable for both desert and Europe/America conditions.

Thermo-imaging contrast is damped by dispersion and absorption, this same method works for radar imaging. The bottom – skeleton – layer of net is responsible for this activity.

Berberys is already used in Polish army (between others in ISAF in Afghanistan). It is exhibited in Eurosatory to stimulate interest of potential foreign customers.

Miranda Ltd. created also Berberys Soldier uniform system with similar possibilities plus deforming of visual outline of soldier.
