The AMZ Kutno Company does not exhibite its products in common with Bumar. This year in Eurosatory it demonstrates the improved armoured patrol vehicle Tur 2 as individual.

AMZ does not lose hope to sell the Tur 2 in Poland. Unfortunately for them as all need for similar (though larger) vehicles are fulfilled by vehicles lent by US Forces, chances for Tur 2 or Żubr in Poland are rather slim. Accordnig to currently obtainded info Polish PKW in Afghanistan will soon receive 20 new (unused) Navistar Maxx Pro plus 60 second – hand MRAP vehicles either Maxx Pro or already known and used Cougar 4x4 from Force Protection
From the outside Tur 2 shows the change of locating of doors, and replacing the tarpaulin cover of cargo space with Alucovering. In common with other APVs this space is not armoured. Kutno improved also internal ergonomy oh vehicle. Tur 2 has Hutchinson covers, covering tires against damage, lighter Alu wheel discs and WB Electronics production electronics. It is demonstrated with Saab trackfire system wooden maquette. As the maquette of Polish ZSMU Kobuz from Tarnow was not available. AMZ confirms that they have the communication version of Tur 2 configured by WIŁ Zegrze (Army C3I Institute).

Cargo space of improved Tur 2
The vehicle is probably is planned as mobile communication center (for KAKTUS system – not confirmed officially) it has crew of 3. Equipment contains radio – relay R450A (of Transbit) with Crypto and other system, 2 radios VHFRCC – 9311AP of Radmor and HF radio RF – 5800 of Harris. The tests of Tur 3 ( offered in India in cooperation with Metalexport and local Vectra Company) for their border guard are finishing with positive effects, though with some engine problems.
