Anders – the demonstrator of Polish multipurpose combat platform for XXI century passed first shooting test of his 120 mm gun on the test range in Silesia, belonging to ZM Bumar Łabędy in Gliwice.

The living fire tests of ANDERS beginning at Oct. 5th,used 20 live 120 mm rounds both APFSDS-TT and HE-TT, all produced in Poland by Pionki.

During the first day of test there were fired 4 AT and 4 HE rounds in various angles of turret rotation. Measurements comprised the dynamics and the forces in work on armoured structure, stresses in hull and acceleration caused by recoil during each shot. They were smaller than was expected.

After overall inspection all sighting systems and all internal equipment have been installed, that were removed before firing test.

At Oct.7th, ANDERS arrived again on the test range to pass live firing of 5shots testing equipment elements. No negative effects have been found again.

The 7 remaining live rounds will be spent during the first public show of Anders shooting. During show there will be present representatives of MoD, General Staff and commanders of units to be equipped with Anders in futurity.
