BALT MILITARY EXPO has been held in Gdańsk since 1998 (currently bi-annually). The 15th BME 2018 will take place on 25-27 June. Organised in close co-operation with the General HQ of Armed Force Services and the Navy Inspectorate, the Operational HQ of Armed Force Services and the Naval Operations Centre, as well as with the National Security Office, Border Guard, Police, National Fire Service, Ministry of National Defence, Foreign Ministry and the ministries of economy, it will gather major defence and security companies and institutions from the Baltic Sea region. The Fair will focus on maritime security, defence systems, and sea and land rescue operations.

For optimum presentation of exhibitors, and to introduce the product range of those companies who will not have separate stands at the Baltic Military Expo, ALTAIR Air Agency, a partner of the BME for a number of years, is preparing an official show daily, the RAPORT BME. This year, three Expo issues will be published, one every day. They will include articles about principal Polish naval defence undertakings, including those of the future of the procurement programmes of ships and other equipment for the Polish Navy, as well as the plans of the Naval Department of the Polish Border Guard.
