Advanced Protection Systems (APS) is a Polish expert in anti-drone systems. APS designs and manufactures comprehensive anti-UAV systems for protecting and defending critical civilian infrastructure against military drone attacks. The company independently develops, manufactures and implements own technologies for detecting and neutralizing drones.

APS systems are based on battle proven technology. They can simultaneously track multiple targets, and classify detected objects and distinguish, for example, birds from drones, using machine learning algorithms. They can report the position of objects in real time, and enable their effective neutralization after recognition. The systems are manufactured in both stationary and mobile versions. The solution developed by APS allows for:
- automation of UAV detection,
- creation of a common operational image, after collecting data from various sensors,
- support of soft-kill (e.g. jamming systems) and hard-kill (e.g. small-caliber guns) effectors neutralizing UAVs,
- supporting operators in decision-making.
APS’s portfolio includes both ready-made systems and elements that can be used to create them: FIELDctrl radars, jamming devices and special CyView C2 command and control software developed independently by the company.
APS solutions are currently successfully used, among others, in Ukraine, to protect civilian and military targets. Especially for the Ukrainian armed forces, APS, together with the British MSI-DS, created the SKYctrl Terrahawk Paladin pallet set - a complete, mobile solution, including radar and optoelectronic system for detecting UAVs and soft-kill and hard-kill variants subsystems for engaging them. The soft-kill electronic subsystem has radio jammers, while the hard-kill kinetic subsystem is based on a 30 mm MK44 Bushmaster cannon coupled with sensors, supplied by MSI-DS. It is presented at the MBDA stand next to an anti-UAV system supplemented by a laser effector.

Among the latest APS solutions is a suitcase jammer to protect frontline soldiers. The portable jammer, weighing from 15 to 28 kg, can jam multiple configurable frequency bands for over 6.5 hours, thus neutralizing UAVs within a radius of at least 500 m. Another new solution is a UAV to destroy an enemy object by direct hit.
An anti-UAV system manufactured by APS, mounted on the Igwan armoured vehicle manufactured by Rosomak, is also presented in Kielce. And, together with the Military Institute of Armoured and Automotive Technology, a system installed on a crawler robot is presented.
The APS company was founded (in 2015) by two scientists: Maciej Klemm and Radosław Piesiewicz. It is worth emphasizing that both of its product lines - radars and anti-UAV systems, are manufactured entirely in Poland.
