During MSPO 2024, the Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU) presents many UAVs and warheads they use.

Visitors to the WITU stand can familiarize themselves in particular with the offer of GX-series warheads, which are intended for unmanned aerial vehicles. The warheads differ in size, weight, functionality and combat capabilities and they are designed for UAVs equipped with their own vision sensors, as well as without such a system. The warheads presented are used as armament for loitering ammunition, but can also be adapted for airdrop, allowing the UAV to return to base and its reuse. Warheads can communicate via the carrier or remotely using the GX DICOS direct communication system.

The GX-series warheads are intended for a variety of combat missions. Within each GX-series, you can distinguish high-explosive (HE), high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT), thermobaric (TBX) and training (INERT) warheads. The large offer of electric initiators is also available.
In the exhibition space, you can also see CyberHeat, GIEZ, FPV Rapote, or the B0 loitering ammunition system. An interesting solutions are a multi-mission platform CyberHUB and DragonFly, a quad-rotor warheads carrier. It was designed to perform combat operations in both field and urbanized areas and is adapted to be operated by a single soldier. It is a vertical launch platform equipped with a GX-1 series warhead, capable of engaging targets at a distance of up to 10 km. DragonFly is equipped with a operator’s device for warhead remote arming and disarming. CyberHeat is a loitering ammunition intended to carry GX warheads. It can hit targets within a radius of 20 km (40 km unidirectionally). Endurance is 45 min, and maximum speed is 150 km/h.

Once again, the Pangolin reactive armour module is making an appearance at MSPO, being the successor to the well-known ERA ERAWA system, designed to protect against ammunition with cumulative warheads and sub-caliber projectiles. And Pangolin-N is a NERA armour module, i.e. additional vehicle armour, to protect it against cluster or loitering ammunition.
