Mobile Dispatch Communication System

DGT company, located at Straszyn near Gdańsk, has specialised in years in communications systems, including those that integrate devices of various classes and types, for Polish public safety services, armed forces and local authorities. In recent years, DGT was able to obtain some lucrative orders. Among others, the company has integrated the 112 emergency call operating system. 2012 saw opening of centres in Poznań, Gdańsk and Wrocław, and the following year those in the other planned locations. Currently, the system is being expanded. DGT have also provided, among others, 45 integrated medical dispatcher offices that integrate various types of car radio sets, and have recently carried out similar activities for the Police.

During Europoltech 2015 the company presented a Mobile Dispatch Communication System, the main aim of which is to create a field node of communication and an advanced management (command) position, for example to conduct a rescue operation using various services. Particularly in areas that do not guarantee smooth operation of radio communications based on stationary equipment.

The system was based on the DGT RGWv1R Radio Gateway (a model for Ministry of Interior services, there is also the v1M military variant and v1C stationary one). It enables common operation and sharing of radio (TETRA, DMR, EDACS, analog VHF/UHF) and telephone means of communication integrated within the system.

Additionally the solution, based on dedicated APIs, provides integration with external IT applications, such as databases, directories, digital maps or SWD. The rugged casing and fitting on an anti-vibration platform allow work in difficult conditions, from -20°C to +70°C, including inside vehicles, aircraft or watercraft.
